CluneTech, the Kilkenny-headquartered software technology group, has been recognised as one of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies at a gala ceremony hosted at the RDS in Dublin.
This year’s recognition is especially significant for CluneTech as it celebrates its tenth consecutive year achieving Platinum status – the programme’s highest distinction, reserved for businesses that consistently demonstrate outstanding leadership, strategy, and performance.
At the 17th annual awards, Deloitte welcomed eight new companies into the Best Managed Companies (BMC) network. In total, 115 indigenous businesses were recognised in 2025, representing 25 of Ireland’s 32 counties. Collectively, these companies boast a combined turnover exceeding €22 billion and employ more than 62,000 people across industries ranging from technology and healthcare to construction.
Founded in 1996 by entrepreneur Terry Clune, CluneTech is headquartered in Ireland but operates across four continents, conducting business in over 100 countries every day. The group has offices in 21 countries and employs more than 1,200 staff globally. Its portfolio includes TransferMate, Fintua, Sprintax and Benamic, among others. In June 2023, its global payroll platform Immedis was acquired by UKG in one of Ireland’s largest technology transactions to date.
